The leader to begin day three, Will Harkins wasted no time getting to work under welcomed sunny skies on Showdown Saturday. With the weather over the last week finally getting stable, the final-day action was expected to be great, and Harkins is taking advantage. He quickly boated two bass over three pounds as the camera crews arrived this morning and has since built a limit for around 12 pounds but those behind him are not going away.

Despite an almost 10-pound unofficial lead in the early hours, two anglers have risen to close the gap on Harkins. Jesse Millsaps added a 4.5-pound bass to his bag en route to building an early 15-pound limit. Since then, Millsaps has fallen to fourth, while the Bass Warrior Louis Fernandes is fishing how he wants to this week on Logan Martin, with an 18-pound limit on the day to jump into second place.

Brock Bila is working on them this morning with a limit over 12 pounds and has moved into second place. Both Harkins and Bila have plenty of room to grow while Millsaps and Fernandes, despite having a kicker, have less room for improvement and will need bigger fish to cull.

Rounding out the top five at the midway point, JTodd Tucker has been steady all week and his efforts are likely to keep him within the top five.
