I’m just like a lot of anglers out there chasing a dream. But for me, it’s never been just about catching fish. From the very beginning, it’s always been about one thing: winning. Holding up a trophy. Standing at the top. That’s the dream I’m chasing, and I won’t stop until it’s reality.

I don’t show up to a tournament just to pass the time. If you’re not showing up with the belief that you can win, what’s the point? Time is the most valuable thing we have—it’s priceless, and once it’s gone, you don’t get it back. So, every second I spend on the water, every early morning and late night, every cast I make—it’s all done with purpose. With drive. With the mindset that I’m there to win. Period.

I consider myself a competitor in the purest sense. I’m a grinder, someone who constantly thinks about how to win—sometimes obsessively. My mind goes a thousand miles an hour before, during, and after every event. From the second I wake up, to launching the boat, to firing up the engine and racing to my first spot, to making my first cast, and right up until that final moment when I’m headed back to check-in—the only thing on my mind is how I can put myself in position to win. It’s more than just a goal—it’s who I am. It’s in my DNA.

I want to be known for one thing: being a winner. That’s the goal. I believe it’s the dream of every serious angler, but dreaming isn’t enough. Now it’s time to put in the work and make it happen.

So why do I fish?

Because I love it. Plain and simple. I love the process. I love the challenge. I love everything that comes with it—even the downs. I think those down moments are what shape you the most. When you’ve been at your lowest, it makes the highs mean more. You learn. You grow. You become a better angler, a better competitor, and a stronger person.

Tournament fishing, for me, is where my true self comes out. I love fishing with a goal, with stakes—whether it’s for pocket change or a six-figure check. When I’m competing, that fire inside me ignites. I see the water differently. I think differently. I move differently. That’s when I’m in my zone.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a passion. It’s a lifestyle. It’s my path. I’m here to chase greatness, to earn respect, and to win.

This is who I am.

Since the NPFL launched in 2021, the goal has remained the same: To prioritize anglers and establish a trail that aligns with the original intentions of competive bass fishing's founders.
