Festus, MO (February 8,2022) — The National Professional Fishing League (NPFL) announces its attendance at the 2022 Columbus Fishing Expo this week February 11-13th. The NPFL weigh-in trailer as well as the owners and dozens of the NPFL Pro Anglers will be on hand to answer any questions or simply to talk fishing. Fat Cat Newton will also be conducting several of his Round Table events live from the show where he will interview several anglers to talk about the 2022 season.

“We are extremely excited to continue our grass roots connection by spending time with the loyal fan base that supports ‘the league’ and our anglers at the Columbus Fishing Expo. Bring the kids to take a stroll across the stage and get a good look at what we will have to show at stop number 5 this season at Sandusky. Anglers, sponsors and the staff will be on hand to give you an in depth look at what ‘the league’ is all about.”

About the National Professional Fishing League

The NPFL was designed to bring simplicity back to professional bass fishing. One lake, 120 anglers, and three days of fishing with the heaviest combined three-day weight winning. The full field will compete all three days with one in three anglers getting paid at each event. The goal of the NPFL is to put the anglers first and build a trail that gets back to what the founders of bass fishing intended it to be.

The League

Since the NPFL launched in 2021, the goal has remained the same: To prioritize anglers and establish a trail that aligns with the original intentions of competive bass fishing's founders.
