Mid-Day Update – Fernandes VS Wroblewski

At the mid-day point on day one, it appears fish are being caught at all depths on a variety of different baits. At the top so far, with Fernandes and Wroblewski, it’s an offshore versus shallow water battle. Louis Fernandes has an unofficial lead with 14-pounds, 14-ounces and reportedly fishing around 20 feet. In second place unofficially, Rob Wroblewski is working moving baits in shallow water and has an estimated 13-pounds, 9-ounces.

On the water photographers Tanner and Travis Lyons are reporting a field that is 100% spread. With a typical post spawn bite, the fish are spread out. With the sun coming out this afternoon, more anglers are sampling the ledge bite as the wind picks up. It should be a good afternoon and moves will be made.

The unofficial top 10:
Louis Fernandes 14-14
Rob Wroblewski 13-9
Ryan Satterfield 12-10
Mike Corbishley 11-5
Adam Savage 10-15
Eddie Carper 10-9
Derrick Blake 10-5
Paul Browning 10-4
Sheldon Collings 9-1
Bryant Smith 9-1
