Despite the weather, the big ones are still biting on Day Two at Santee Cooper Lakes.

With several anglers not recording catches on the unofficial weigh live tracker, it’s hard to tell where we stand at the mid-day point. Todd Goade has taken charge so far today with an over 6-pound bass helping him to an unofficial weight of 17-pounds, 7-ounces. Goade started in 5th place and is making moves.

It remains a tough bite for the NPFL anglers with limits and consistent bites extremely hard to come by. Day one leader Sheldon Collings is sitting with three bass at this point, but his offshore brush piles could fire this afternoon giving him the opportunity to make some key upgrades to keep him near the top.

Patrick Walters started in 2nd place this morning and has a limit as seen on Live Coverage. His weights are unknown but it is safe to assume he is right there near the top with plenty of time left on the day.

Starting the day in 3rd place, Will Harkins is still fishing his mid-range brush piles with a variety of finesse tactics and is catching fish on live coverage. His unofficial 14-pounds plus, including a 6-pounde kicker keeps him in contention going into the afternoon.

Tim Cales started the event with 19-pounds, 15-ounces on day one and is having a tougher start to the day today. He is reportedly sitting in 17th place with only one keeper on the day.

The top ten look like this:
Todd Goade 36-5
Will Harkins 33-12
Nick Brown 32-9
Timmy Reams 30-6
Matt Massey 28-14
Dan Blackert 28-4
Sheldon Collings 27-12
Darrel Robertson 27-10
John Cox (FL) 27-4
