As we move into the afternoon portion of day one, the fish are biting on Lake Lanier. The top two anglers in Progressive AOY coming into the event are currently one and two on the Weigh Live Tracker. Todd Goade is reporting a 15-pound, 15-ounce limit while Jesse Wise is right behind him with 14-pounds, 1-ounce.

With 17 limits on the day, the smallest being 7-pounds even by Billy Hackworth, the bites have been hindered by the fall turnover, but the NPFL anglers are figuring out how the fish are setting up and reacting to different baits. Big bites are coming, but fewer and far between. Trent Palmer landed a 5-plus pound bass earlier and several bigger fish are coming across the tracker.

The top ten at the mid-day point looks like this.
Todd Goade 15-15
Jesse Wise 14-1
Stephanie Hemphill-Pellerin 13-1
Haydon Hammond 12-12
Quentin Cappo 12-5
Landon Tucker 12-0
Jason Reyes 12-0
Ryan Satterfield 11-0
Richard Cooper 10-13
Charlie Apperson 10-10

The League

Since the NPFL launched in 2021, the goal has remained the same: To prioritize anglers and establish a trail that aligns with the original intentions of competive bass fishing's founders.
