Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the blessings we often take for granted. In the hustle of life and the grind of this sport, we get so wrapped up in pushing forward and chasing what’s next that we forget to realize what we already have.

Today, I encourage all of us to take a minute and reflect on everything we have.

For me, I’m thankful for this league, for the opportunity to lead it, and for the incredible community that surrounds it. Our anglers pour their hearts and souls into every decision on the water. They represent what’s good in professional fishing. Our sponsors and partners believe in what we’re building, allowing us to grow and innovate in ways that once felt like a dream.

I’m thankful for the NPFL team, the backbone of this league, who show up day after day to make sure the wheels keep turning. And, of course, I’m grateful for our fans—the lifeblood of the NPFL. You show us every day why this sport matters and why what we’re building is worth every ounce of effort.

Most importantly, I’m thankful for my family and specifically for my wife, Michele. She is truly the backbone of the league. Her support, dedication, and strength keep everything together—both at home and within the NPFL. Without her, we would all be in trouble, and I couldn’t do any of this without her.

As we all take a break to enjoy good food, family, and friends, let’s remember to pause and appreciate this moment. Not what’s ahead, not what we’re chasing—just this.

Gratitude is powerful, and it’s something we can always choose to embrace.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families. Take a moment, be present, and give thanks for the journey we’re on together.

The League

Since the NPFL launched in 2021, the goal has remained the same: To prioritize anglers and establish a trail that aligns with the original intentions of competive bass fishing's founders.
