I’ve been lucky in my life to be part of some incredible teams. But what we have right now at the NPFL….It’s different. It’s special.

The team we have—they just work. No shortcuts. No excuses. No secret formula. Just old-fashioned, head-down, heart-up work.

Lake Norman was the most difficult, most stressful tournament we’ve ever had. A hundred ways it could’ve broken us, but it didn’t.

Were there glitches? Yes. Were there missteps? Absolutely. But what matters—what really matters—is how this team responded.

They didn’t just fight for the show or the production or the League’s name.

They fought for the anglers and for you—the fan.

Our crew cares. Legitimately. Deeply.

Not about just a few big names. Not about the loudest voices. They care about every single angler in this league and every true fan watching online.

They want every angler—every man and woman who puts that NPFL patch on their jersey—to feel special. To know they matter. To know that whether they’re a seasoned pro or a rookie chasing a dream, they are seen, they are supported, and they are part of this family.

It’s not about favorites. It’s about the cumulative group—the 100-plus anglers who are the NPFL.

And the team cares about each fan—watching from a smartphone or computer, sneaking a look while at work, while relaxing at home, or while prepping for a day on the water.

The grit I saw from our team at Lake Norman, and the heart behind it, gets me more excited than anything. If we can carry that forward—that heart, that fight, that belief—we’re going to be just fine.

Actually, we’re going to be more than fine. We’re going to be something special.

No mountain is too high if you’re willing to endure the climb. And make no mistake: this team is willing—for each other, for the anglers, and for the fans who believe in what we’re building.

I wish everyone could see what I see.

I’m proud to stand with them. Proud to stand with you. And proud to say: we’re just getting started. Our team is on a journey. We know where we’re going, and we know the road ahead is a long and difficult one, but we’re confident we’ll get there.

Thanks for believing in us and for inspiring our journey.

The best is yet to come.

The League

Since the NPFL launched in 2021, the goal has remained the same: To prioritize anglers and establish a trail that aligns with the original intentions of competive bass fishing's founders.
