Day Two of Stop #6 at Logan Martin Lake is underway. Hosted by the City of Oxford, the tournament runs September 25–27, with daily takeoffs at 6:30 AM CST from Lincoln’s Landing, 740 Travis Dr, Lincoln, AL 35096.

Ron Farrow took over first place after Day One and heads out on the water today as the leader. Coming off practice with sunny, bluebird skies, Farrow had a good read on the lake, but yesterday’s cloudy conditions scattered his fish. Today, he’ll look to maintain his Day One leading 17-10 bag as anglers continue to figure out Logan Martin Lake.

Coming into the event, Alabama angler Wes Logan said the fall transition has started, but he wasn’t sure exactly how far along things were. Second-place angler Patrick Walters agreed, saying, “We’re somewhere between summer and fall.” Walters scratched together a 15-10 limit on Day One, catching his bigger fish randomly throughout the day.

In third place, South Carolina angler Brandon Cobb put together a 15-5 limit, putting him one spot ahead of James Watson of Missouri, who jumped out to a fast start on the Fishing Chaos Catch Track on Day One. The fifth spot is occupied by Alabama’s Scott Canterbury, who knows the Coosa River as well as anyone and should be in contention come Showdown Saturday.

Tied for ninth, AOY leader coming into the event, Kyle Welcher rounds out the top 10 with 13-6 on Day One, staying consistent and giving those chasing him solid events. Walters, who started just seven points behind Welcher on Day One, did just that. Unofficially, Walters edged Welcher by one point – with two days remaining, watch for an exciting final day.

Weigh-ins begin at 3:00 PM CST at Lincoln’s Landing, 740 Travis Dr, Lincoln, AL 35096, with live coverage today and on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM CST.

Weather Watch
Day Two at Logan Martin Lake is expected to see highs in the low 80s and lows in the high 60s, with cloudy skies giving way to partly cloudy conditions as the day progresses. Winds will be light and variable, creating generally stable conditions for anglers.
