With only five limits so far today, the pressure on Lake Eufaula is catching up and the bite has gotten really tough! Will Harkins is the unofficial leader at the midday point with the young angler working on reaching a double-digit bag. Harkins is checking in with around 8.5-pounds so far.

Behind him, Louis Fernandes is sitting in good shape with a couple fish short of a limit, but does have a 4-pounder in his bag. With a few more fish, Fernandes will be in good shape for the afternoon period when the bites been reportedly better for the brush anglers.

Leader Trent Palmer is having a slower day as the pressure of other boats in his area could be catching up. Expect Palmer to fill a limit this afternoon as he continues to look for active schools of bass. He is currently in 7th place, unofficially.

Top five unofficially looks like this:
Will Harkins 34-7
Louis Fernandes 32-15
Jason Wilson 31-11
Brandon Perkins 30-11
Marc schilling 30-9
