As the morning comes to an end on Lanier, the tough bite continues despite the leaders getting off to a better start this morning. Besides Todd Goade on day one, the afternoon window was crucial to the top anglers making their move.

Will Harkins recently filled a limit for almost 14-pounds which gives him the unofficial lead on day two. Progressive AOY leader Todd Goade is behind him with over 12-pounds on the day with Trent Palmer reporting over 12-pounds respectively. Most of the top anglers caught some “bonus bass” with the afternoon expected to produce bigger bites.

Starting the day in second place, Patrick Walters is catching fish but has not reported a catch on the Weigh Live Tracker. With his estimated double-digit weight, him and Harkins are atop the leaderboard.

If Todd Goade continues to bring in five fish today and on Showdown Saturday, there is nothing Jesse Wise and Will Harkins can do, regardless if they were to win.

The top ten at the mid-day point looks like this.
Will Harkins 34-2
Todd Goade 30-1
Trent Palmer 29-12
Mike Corbishley 26-3
Jesse Wise 25-3
Ryan Satterfield 25-3
Richard Cooper 24-11
Reagan Nelson 23-11
Billy Hackworth 22-3
Matt Looney 21-11
