Dive into the journey of NPFL angler Will Harkins – a 22-year-old from Blairsville, Georgia, fresh out of Young Harris College. Starting his fishing adventures with his grandfather at the age of three, Harkins worked his way through high school circuits, attended college, and concluded a stellar rookie 2023 NPFL season. With finishes of 28th and 22nd to begin his season, he rallied with impressive finishes of 3rd, 7th, 2nd, and 2nd, and propelled to finish second-place in the Progressive AOY. Fueled by faith, family, and determination, he aims to inspire the younger generation by proving to himself and the naysayers that through hard work and determination, it’s possible to thrive in professional fishing. When he’s not on the water, Harkins spends his time working alongside his father as much as he can when he’s home. Catch his compelling story in the NPFL’s Original Film, presented by The National Professional Fishing League and Progressive Insurance – “My Story with Will Harkins.”
